Take a Ceramics Class, Play 'B-ball' or Learn Karate

The Woodbridge Township Recreation Department is offering adults numerous recreational activities throughout the winter. Following is a list of sports and art classes available to township residents. Please note some activities are free:

Adult Karate: $40 Monthly. Classes take place every Monday and Thursday at the Woodbridge Community Center from 730 pm to 9pm.

Women’s Recreation: Free. Play volleyball at the Indiana Avenue School #18 on Mondays starting January 2 and continuing on January 9, January 23, January 30, February 6, February 13, February 27, March 5, March 12, March 19 and March 26. Activities run from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Ceramics: $2 per session. Create ceramic artwork at the Woodbridge Main Public Library on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm. starting in January. This class is for adults only. (Call the Woodbridge Township Recreation Department or library at 732-634-4450 for more information on these classes.)

Men’s Recreation: Free. Play basketball to get in shape and have some fun at the Woodbridge Middle School every Wednesday on January 4, January 11, January 18, January 25, February 1, February 8, February 15, February 22, February 29, March 7, March 14, March 21 and March 28.
The event takes place from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.

Men’s Recreational Basketball League: $265 per team. Please visit or call the Recreation Department for information on obtaining a registration form which  includes a refundable forfeit fee. Teams are accepted on a first come, first served basis. The games will take place at the Woodbridge Community Center on Thursdays starting in January.
