Fatal Crash, Fire On NJ Turnpike Near Woodbridge: Police
The horrific crash closed parts of the NJ highway, police said.

WOODBRIDGE – One person was killed in a truck crash and fire that closed much of the northbound side of the New Jersey Turnpike this weekend, police said.
A tractor-trailer struck a concrete barrier and overturned at 6:27 p.m. on the nortbound side of the Turnpike at Exit 12 on Sunday, police said. The accident happened at milepost 95.9.
The truck then overturned and landed near the railroad tracks, police said. The driver, who was not identified, was entrapped.

The vehicle caught fire. All lanes were blocked on the outer roadway, officials said.
The person was pulled from the crash and pronounced dead, police said.
