Fatal Crash in Middlesex County Under Investigation

A 20-year-old Perth Amboy man was killed in the motorcycle crash Monday, according to a published report.

East Brunswick police are investigating the cause of a fatal motorcycle crash on Cranbury Road.

Edwin Caba-Abreu was killed in the crash, police said. He was 20-years-old and from Perth Amboy, according to myCentralJersey.com.

Just after 5 a.m. Monday, Caba-Abreu was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX motorcycle on Cranbury Road south.

He had a passenger, Jiordany Rodriguez-Paulino, on the back of the bike.

As Caba-Abreu was negotiating a curve near Merrill Avenue, he lost control of the motorcycle and both men were thrown from it.

Caba-Abreu was pronounced dead at the scene. Rodriguez-Paulino was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
