Fatal Industrial Accident in Linden

Man dies Friday after clothing gets caught in a lathe, pulling him into the machine.

Linden, NJ - An industrial worker killed Friday in a factory accident in Linden has been identified as Antonio Noble, 57, of Newark, according to NJ.com.

Noble was killed Friday afternoon at Advance Machine Inc. on Pennsylvania Avenue when his clothes became caught in a lathe, a machine that rotates an item on its axis, reports NJ.com.

He was dragged into the machinery. When police responded at 12:15 p.m., they found he had serious injuries to his head and arm, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
