The Gateway Family YMCA Celebrates YMCA Day of Giving 2026

The Gateway Family YMCA proudly announces its participation in the 2026 YMCA Day of Giving, a nationwide day of generosity dedicated to strengthening communities and ensuring access to vital programs and services for all.

Since 1900, The Gateway Family YMCA has been committed to serving the evolving needs of the community. As a leading nonprofit organization, the Y provides critical support to individuals and families across Union and Middlesex Counties through programs focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Funds raised during the YMCA Day of Giving directly support:

• Safe housing and supportive services for individuals, families, and veterans facing homelessness
• Meals and essential resources for those experiencing food insecurity
• Child care, academic enrichment, tutoring, and STEAM programming for youth
• Drowning prevention and life-saving water safety programs
• Teen leadership development, volunteerism, and the 7th Grade Initiative
• Outreach and socialization programs for seniors and caregivers
• Chronic disease prevention and wellness programs
• Financial assistance and Community Memberships to ensure access for all
