Reinhard Manor is named in the memory of U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kevin J. Reinhard, who died in 2012 in the line of duty in Afghanistan.

A new, affordable senior housing community has opened in the site of a former school in the Colonia section of Woodbridge.

Reinhard Manor, at the long-vacant School 2/16, has 62 one- and two-bedroom rental units, open to senior citizens age 55 and over.

Mayor John E. McCormac and representatives from Ingerman, BCM Affordable Housing, the Woodbridge Redevelopment Agency and Affordable Housing Corporation, and the New Jersey Housing & Mortgage Finance Agency, held a grand opening ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
