Iselin Store Sells $50K-Winning Lottery Ticket

A convenience store at 1530C Oak Tree Road in Iselin sold a lottery ticket that won $50,000 in Monday's drawing:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Check your pockets if you play the lottery and bought at ticket at the Welsh Farm on Oak Tree Road in Iselin last week.

That's because the store sold a lottery ticket that won the $50,000 second-tier prize Monday.

From the NJ state Lottery: Two New Jersey Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the Monday, September 25, drawing winning the $50,000 second-tier prize. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Essex County: Maloco Liquors, 349-351 Chestnut St., Newark
  • Middlesex County: Welsh Farm, 1530C Oak Tree Rd., Iselin
  • Warren County: The Bagelsmith Food & Deli, 327 3rd Ave., Alpha.

The winning numbers for the Monday, September 25, drawing were: 10, 12, 22, 36 and 50. The Red Power Ball number was 04. The Power Play was 2X.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $835,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, September 27, at 10:59 pm.
