Kids At Acacia Center Got To Meet Elmo, See New 'Sesame Street' Episode

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A new Sesame Street episode about how to deal with storms and severe weather was screened last Thursday from the Acacia Center in Woodbridge.

And local Woodbridge children got to meet Elmo, who was there to greet kids. There were more than 100 families and kids inside the Acacia Center last Thursday.

Woodbridge Township, in collaboration with PSE&G Foundation and Sesame Workshop, hosted the special watch party, for the Netflix's and PBS Kids' kids' special.

The new special episode was on how to prepare for and recover from an extreme storm. The episode was called "Storm on Sesame Street," and singer/rapper Post Malone and comedian Michelle Buteau appear in it. The episode follows Elmo and friends as they prepare for a big storm and come together to rebuild their community after it passes, with help from the celebrity guests.

Representatives from PSE&G Foundation were also there, and met with Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac.
