Main Street In Woodbridge Again Closed Friday Into Saturday

For the second weekend in a row, the Woodbridge farmers' market will be moved to the Eleanor Place parking lot.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Main Street in Woodbridge will again by closed and detoured, starting at 7 p.m. Friday night and lasting until 7 p.m. Saturday.

This will again, for the second weekend in a row, require the Woodbridge farmers' market to be moved to the Eleanor Place parking lot this Saturday.

This is a continuation of the Main Street sewer construction project. The closure this weekend is to repave Main Street.

Main Street was closed last weekend for the actual sewer construction work.

Main Street in downtown Woodbridge will be closed and detoured beginning Fri., July 16 at 7:00 p.m. thru Sat., July 17 at 7:00 a.m. (weather permitting) for completion of street reconstruction and paving. Drivers will have to follow the signed detour and/or plan an alternate route. The following streets will be impacted: Main Street, Rahway Avenue, Berry Street, Eleanor Place and Amboy Avenue.

The Woodbridge Downtown Saturday Farmers’ Market will relocate to the Eleanor Place parking lot from 9-1 on Saturday. Park in the NJ Transit parking lot.
