Man Escapes Rt. 1 Car Fire In Woodbridge Monday Morning

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — These dramatic photos shows a car that caught fire during the Monday morning commute on Rt. 1 Woodbridge.

This was the scene at 8:08 a.m. on Rt. 1 in Avenel, according to the Avenel Fire Department.

The driver was able to escape the car and no injuries were reported.

A man passing by, John Francis Roman, who is actually the Aberdeen public information officer, said he was one of the first to stop and pull over. The driver had already safely gotten out of the car.
