Man Flown To Hospital After Attack In Woodbridge: Police

A 23-year-old man was attacked by several men in Woodbridge, causing "significant injuries," according to the police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 23-year-old man was attacked by several men early Sunday morning in Woodbridge, causing "significant injuries," according to the Prince William County Police Department. The man was flown to an area hospital for treatment.

At 2:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an area of Woodbridge near Prince William Parkway and Ridgefield Drive after receiving reports of someone laying on the ground. The police later determined the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by several unknown men.

During the incident, the victim was struck in the face several times before the suspects fled. The suspects were only described as white males.
