Man Who Hid Under Bed For Three Days Was Daughter's Ex, Report Says
The man who sneaked into a home and hid under a bed for three days had dated the homeowners' daughter years ago, a published report said.

The man who sneaked into a Spotswood home earlier this year and hid under a bed for three days had dated the homeowners’ daughter years ago, according to WABC News.
Margaret Adamcewicz told the television station the defendant, Jason Hubbard, had dated her daughter five years ago, and “just picked our house to hide out in.”
Spotswood police have said that Hubbard made his way into the home through an open door as the homeowner took the garbage one day in May. He then hid under a bed in a spare room for the next three days, police said.

Adamcewicz’s husband discovered Hubbard in the family’s house after hearing a noise coming from that room. The couple’s 28-year-old son “corralled Hubbard until officers arrived,’’ WABC News reported.
Police charged Hubbard with burglary, criminal trespass and theft of services. The theft charge was filed because, authorities say, he used an electrical outlet in the home to charge his four cell phones.

He was sent to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick, with bail set at $50,000.
