Memorial Day Ceremonies To Be Held Around Woodbridge

Memorial Day ceremonies are scheduled for Monday around Woodbridge.

According to the township, the following ceremonies will be held:

• Keasbey Fire Department Memorial Day parade and service at the Keasbey War Memorial and Monument Park, at the foot of the Edison Bridge on Smith Street. The Parade begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Keasbey Fire Department, 420 Smith St. Marchers will travel to the Keasbey War Memorial for an 8 a.m. service.
• The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 04-04 Sewaren will conduct a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at 9:00 a.m. at the Woodbridge Marina at the foot of Cliff Street in the Sewaren section of town.
• Woodbridge VFW Post #4410 will conduct a Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. at the Woodbridge Town Hall Veterans Memorial.
• Avenel VFW Memorial Post #7164 will conduct a Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. at the Post Headquarters, 60 West Park Ave., in the Avenel section of town.
• Iselin American Legion T. Nulty Post #471 will conduct a Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. at Post Headquarters on Brown Avenue in the Iselin section of town.
• Iselin VFW Memorial Post #2636 will hold a Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. at Post Headquarters on Auth Avenue in the Iselin section of town.
