Michelle Lodzinski Said She 'Wasn't Made' to be a Mother, Witness Testifies

Riveting testimony was heard Tuesday in the murder trial of Michelle Lodzinski, the mother accused of killing her son, Timothy Wiltsey, 5.

New Brunswick, NJ - Riveting testimony was heard Tuesday in the murder trial of Michelle Lodzinski, the South Amboy mother accused of killing her son, Timothy Wiltsey, 5, and dumping his body in a creek in marshy Raritan Center, Edison.

A former girlfriend of Michelle's brother, Eddie Lodzinski, Danielle Marquis, testified Tuesday, Day 11 of the murder trial saga, reports MyCentralJersey.com. Marquis said several things struck her as odd when she observed Michelle with her son.

Timmy suffered from health problems, including issues with his teeth and stomach, and Michelle seemed to be fed up with it, according to reports.

"The older he got, the more medical problems he was having. It was harder for her. You could tell," Marquis testified, reports NJ.com.

In exasperation, Michelle, 23 and a single mother at the time, had once told her she was a "weekend mother" and "not made for this (expletive)."

Then there was the time Marquis was babysitting Timothy, and Lodzinski called to say she had to work late. Michelle wanted the boy to go home with her then-boyfriend, Fred Bruno.

"Timmy didn't want to go with him. She (Lodzinski) got really angry," said Marquis. She said that when Michelle go to her house, she pulled her son down the stairs and pushed into her boyfriend's car, according to media coverage from the trial.

"When he arrived, Timmy became hysterical and refused to go with him," Marquis said. "My nephew was terrified of him."

Bruno already testified at the trial he had no involvement in Timmy's disappearance or death, reports NJ.com. He has not been charged.

Boy last seen at a carnival

Timothy was last seen at a carnival in Sayreville on May 25,1991. The boy's skeleton remains were found a year later, in April, 1992, in the creek. Michelle had once worked near that area.

When the boy first went missing, Marquis said Michelle took a vacation to the Bahamas. Michelle showed no emotion at her son's funeral, Marquis said. She did not cry once, and instead seemed most about which limousine she would ride in.

If he was alive today, Timothy Wiltsey would be 30 years old.
