The Music of Harry Chapin Performed Live By Brothers Tom & Steve Comes To Woodbridge!
Tom and Steve Chapin perform their own music as well as tribute to Harry Chapin on March 11, 2016 at the Theatre at Woodbridge Middle School

An Evening of Chapin Family Music, featuring the Music of Harry, Tom and Steve Chapin, performed by Tom Chapin and Steve Chapin and members of the original Harry Chapin Band: “Big” John Wallace and Howard Fields comes to the Theatre at Woodbridge Middle School, Friday, March 11 at 7:30 PM.
The songs (and stories) of Harry Chapin are timeless and have impacted countless fans. Those who were lucky enough to see him perform before his untimely death in 1981 knew him as an amazing performer with an equally impressive band and witnessed his moving and humorous storytelling, through both song and words. Author and singer of classic songs like Taxi, Mr. Tanner, Mail Order Annie and W•O•L•D. He is also remembered as a great humanitarian: public advocate and educator, fund-raiser, musician, writer, filmmaker, Harry believed in believing. Because of his extraordinary contributions, Harry Chapin was posthumously awarded the Special Congressional Gold Medal in 1987.
Harry’s brothers, Tom and Steve have continued the family’s musical legacy and will bring Harry’s music to life, along with music of their own creation for this very special evening. Original Harry Chapin band members “Big” John Wallace (bass and vocals), and Howard Fields (drums) join Tom and Steve. Known for his stunning falsetto and equally impressive baritone, Big John brought down the house at Harry Chapin concerts and is bound to do so in Woodbridge as well!
