New Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Will Open Sept. 7

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Attention if you are a Chick-Fil-A lover:
There is a new Chick-Fil-A coming to Woodbridge and it is scheduled to open next Thursday, Sept. 7, located at 320 Rt. 9 north in Woodbridge.
They will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The independent franchise owner of the new Woodbridge Chick-Fil-A is Amanda Halligan. Halligan's first job was at Chick-fil-A Hunter’s Crossing in Alcoa, Tennessee. She was a high school student at the time, and the recipient of a Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures™ Scholarship in 2008. Now, she lives in Woodbridge, NJ with her wife Chelsea and their daughter Willow.
The restaurant says they are hiring for 110 full- and part-time positions.

In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. These funds will be distributed to partners in the greater New York City area to aid in the fight against hunger.
In addition, Chick-fil-A West Pond is recognizing 100 local heroes making an impact in the Woodbridge Township area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year. They've already selected the Woodbridge locals and they will posted on the restaurant’s Facebook and Instagram channels soon.
This fall, Chick-Fil-A will unveil its Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, accompanied by the Caramel Crumble Milkshake, starting in stores Aug. 28.
There are seven other Chick-Fil-As in Middlesex County. This Rt. 9 location in Woodbridge is their newest.
