NJ Makers Day @ Woodbridge Public Library
Celebrate the 3rd annual NJ Makers Day with crafts and tech projects for all ages!

To celebrate making and maker culture, Woodbridge Township residents are invited to visit the Main Library on Saturday, March 25, 2017, between 11 am and 2 pm for a hands-on celebration of the 3rd annual NJ Makers Day.
The Main Library will host six stations with a different “maker” theme. Participants can build with Legos, connect with Snap Circuits, craft with the library’s button maker, Perler beads, and diffusion kits, and even program Sphero and Finch robots.
NJ Makers Day is designed to be a statewide event that celebrates, promotes, and in many cases may introduce maker culture, as well as the values associated with making, tinkering and STEM-based learning. In 2016, NJ Makers Day drew over 40,000 individual attendees to more than 230 participating sites across all 21 counties in the state. Participating locations included public and academic libraries, schools, museums, commercial makerspaces, and AC Moore stores, as well as sponsorship from such organizations as LibraryLinkNJ, littleBits Electronics, and ManufactureNJ.
