Pawcasso Gala Art Auction 2015 - Proceeds To Benefit Homeless Animals

Angel PAWS animal rescue and adoption shelter to hold annual Pawcasso art auction to benefit homeless animals on Saturday, April 11, 2015.

On Saturday, April 11th, Angel PAWS animal rescue and adoption shelter will hold its annual Pawcasso gala art auction, including fine art and original prints created by their own shelter residents. The event will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Hall, 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ, 07064. Preview begins at 7:00 pm and auction start time is 8:00 pm.

Ticket prices are $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple. Door and raffle prizes will include New York Yankee and New York Mets baseball tickets, Godiva, gift baskets and more. Hors d’oeuvres, wine, cheese, coffee and desert will be served. Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Cindi Baltzer at (908) 789-4282 or by calling Angel PAWS at (732) 340-1199. Tickets will also be available at the door via payment of cash or check. The auction will be presented by Marlin Art. Local resident Bob Greiza will provide eclectic musical entertainment throughout the preview session.

This year’s event will be dedicated to the Celebration of the Life of Charlie, Angel PAWS’ former canine shelter contributing artist and Angel PAWS adoptee who created Pawcassos for seven consecutive years, beginning at the first fundraising auction in 2008 to last year’s. Sales of her artwork raised thousands of dollars, helping the organization to provide shelter, medical care and, most importantly, love for homeless pets. Charlie, a female American Foxhound, was the epitome of love – boundless, unconditional love. She was adopted by Angel PAWS volunteers Al Hollus and Bob Sorbanelli.
