Perth Amboy Doctor Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Patients

A medical doctor who lives in Colonia, but works at a Perth Amboy urgent care is accused of inappropriately touching female patients:

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — A medical doctor who lives in Colonia but works at an urgent care clinic in Perth Amboy is accused of inappropriately touching women in his care, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

Dr. Gurvindra Johal, 55, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact.

He was arrested Saturday by detectives with the county prosecutor's office Special Victims' Unit.

Dr. Johal was charged following an investigation involving women alleging that he touched them inappropriately while under his care at Amboy Urgent Care, located at 469 Cornell Street in Perth Amboy.
