Incredible Video Shows NJ Cop Racing To Save Man From Train
The officer raced against an oncoming train, desperate to get a man off the tracks. Watch the entire thing captured on his body camera.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — Police in Perth Amboy have shared an incredible, heart-stopping video of a local police officer racing against an oncoming train to save a man lying on the tracks. Waving his arms for the train to slow down and shouting "Hey buddy, MOVE!," the officer saved the man's life, as he got off the tracks within literally inches of the train hitting him.
The incident happened July 19 at 8:19 a.m. Perth Amboy police officer Kyle Savoia was called to check the condition of a man reportedly lying on the North Jersey Coast line tracks near the Perth Amboy station.
When Savoia got there, bystanders pointed towards the man lying about 200 yards away and apparently, that's when Savoia noticed a train approaching at full speed. The conductor appears to be unaware of the man on the tracks. That's when Savoia runs to get to the man in time, screaming for him to move and shouting for the train to stop.

“As police officers, our job is to make quick decisions in difficult situations and to act on them," Savoia told NBC 10. "At the end of the day, all that matters is everyone gets home safe. Also at such an early stage of my career, to be able to make an impactful difference in a person’s life is incredible and makes me love what I do every day."
It's unclear what the man was doing on the tracks.
