Primary Election In Woodbridge: When, Where To Vote
There are no contested primaries in Woodbridge in 2023 for mayor or town council.

There are no contested primaries in Woodbridge in 2023 for mayor or town council.
This fall, Republican John Vrtaric will challenge longtime Woodbridge mayor John McCormac, a Democrat, in the Nov. 7 general election.

Also on Nov. 7, there will be an election for Woodbridge town council; four seats are open and running for them are:
- Democratic council reps Kyle Anderson, Lizbeth DeJesus, Greg Ficarra and Brian Small.
- Republican challengers Bruce Banko, Carlo Fazio, Elijah Rodriguez and Dalia Valentine.

You can vote early at the Acacia Center at 95 Port Reading Avenue until 8:00 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday. Or you can return your mail-in ballot or put it in the drop box at Town Hall before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday or vote at your normal polling place. Unaffiliated registered voters may choose to vote in either the Democratic Primary Election or the Republican Primary Election. If voting in person, either early or on Primary Election Day, an unaffiliated voter will declare their party affiliation at the polls before voting in the Primary Election.
There are voting drop boxes in front of the Woodbridge Library and in front of Woodbridge town hall. You must drop your ballot there by 8 p.m. on June 6.
Polls in New Jersey will be open from 6 am to 8 pm on Primary Election Day.
