Renovations Begin On Woodbridge Town History Museum
The museum will be run by the Woodbridge Historical Association; it will house artifacts that track Woodbridge's history from 1669 to today.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A groundbreaking will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 to mark the beginning of renovations and construction at the Woodbridge Township History Museum.
The Woodbridge Town Museum will be located at 86 Green Street. The museum will be staffed and run by members of the Woodbridge Historical Association; it will house exhibits and artifacts that track Woodbridge's history from 1669 to present day.
It remains unknown when the Woodbridge Township History Museum will open.

Its location in the center of Woodbridge proper also has meaning: Originally known as Woodbridge Avenue, Green Street was a popular thoroughfare from the early 1800s and served as the address of many prosperous and prominent Woodbridge citizens.
Green Street is still home to many elegant Victorian-era homes.
