Rt. 9 In Woodbridge Partially Closed Due To Water Main Break

The main break happened Friday on Rt. 9 just south of Green Street, right by the Woodbridge Center Mall.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A water main break has occurred Friday along Rt. 9 northbound just south of County Road 604 (Oak Tree Road/Green Street) in Woodbridge Township, according to the state road condition website 511nj.org.

This water main break happened right by the Woodbridge Center Mall. Rt. 9 is still open and traffic is still flowing.

Both roads are still open but the water main break has shut down at least one of the three lanes on Rt. 9 through Woodbridge.

"The right lane of Rt. 9 northbound is closed while Middlesex Water Company makes repairs to a water main break at 1460 Rt. 9 in Woodbridge Township," said the NJ Dept. of Transportion.

This main break happened Friday on Rt. 9 northbound, just south of where it intersects with Green Street.
