Salsa By The Bay Returns To Perth Amboy; Kicks Off June 27
Get ready for one hour of free salsa lessons, followed by open dancing. Held on summer evenings on the Perth Amboy waterfront.
PERTH AMBOY, NJ — Salsa by the Bay returns to the Perth Amboy waterfront this summer and it kicks off next Saturday, June 27.
Salsa by the Bay offers one hour of free salsa lessons followd by open dancing. It's held at the beautiful Bayview Park.
One hour of free salsa lessons starts at 5 p.m., taught by Jessie Yip of Step Up Studio. Then, from 6-8 p.m., enjoy open dancing and listening to live Salsa by Swing Sabroso.

There will be food for purchase from Chef Deluxe Me Food Truck. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
You can pre-register on Eventbrite, RSVP on Facebook RSVP by Email or simply just show up. Registration is not required, but organizers do like to know how many people are coming.

Salsa by the Bay is put on by Perth Amboy Artworks, with support from its donors.

Also, to celebrate America 250, Perth Amboy Artworks has sponsored a 660-square-foot mural located on the waterfront walk by Raritan Yacht Club. Local artist Julisa Mugica designed the mural featuring a mermaid and aquatic life.
Mugica is currently working hard on her mural, and it will be unveiled soon. High school interns worked with the lead artist to create it.
Support for Salsa by the Bay and the mural were given by the Perth Amboy Arts Council, the Perth Amboy City Council, the Perth Amboy Office of Economic Development, the Perth Amboy Department of Public Works, the Perth Amboy Police Department and the Raritan Yacht Club.
