Sofia was supposedly going to see her boyfriend, 18-year-old Elijah Hosein, from the Fords area. She was seen after being dropped off in the area of Highland Terrace in Fords. She was getting into a red Ford Escape.
Police previously said Sofia was last seen at 612 Raritan Ave. in Perth Amboy. The red Ford Escape has now been located, Perth Amboy police said.
Friends, meanwhile, paid tribute to Sofia on social media and pleaded with the public to do what they can to help find her. One, Audrey Davis, said she just wanted her home safe.
