“I extremely pleased to bring back our Civilian Police Academy,” Police Chief Thomas Bryan said. “This program enables us to reach out to people in the community we serve and help them to better understand the kind of work our police officers do each day. It also gives participants a small taste of what it would be like to be an officer."
Graduates of the Civilian Police Academy will receive a diploma and are eligible to participate in a ride-along with an on-duty police officer. For more information or to obtain an application, please contact Lt. Robert J. Dudash Jr. at 732-248-6442 or at rdudash@edisonpd.org.
