Sign Up For The Woodbridge Pizza Run July 6

It's a 4-mile course through Alvin Williams Park and the Sewaren waterfront. Local Woodbridge restaurants supply pizza at the finish line!

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge is on the run ... for pizza!

The Mayor's Wellness Campaign, The Club at Woodbridge and Wegmans are sponsoring the annual Woodbridge Run for Pizza next Thursday, July 6, 2017. Sign up today for the 4-mile run through Alvin P. Williams Park and the Sewaren waterfront. This year, the race/walk begins at 7:00 p.m. It is anticipated that the race will be concluded by 8:00 p.m. The course begins in the park, moves out of the park via the main entrance road, down Cliff Road to East Avenue, to Ferry Street, back to Cliff Road and returns to Alvin P. Williams park. See the map above for the exact route. And the best part: Celebrate at the finish line with pizza provided by local Woodbridge restaurants!

Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall female and male runners and top three male and female runners in each age group. Register before July 4 for only $25. Race day registration is $30. Corporate and team entries welcome!

The Woodbridge Pizza Run is a USATF New Jersey 500 Point Event. Proceeds benefit the Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports. See you at the finish line! After the run head over to Tanzman Park (across from the NJ Transit train station) for the Local Band Thursday concert – Good to Go - at 7:30 p.m.
