WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A lot of smoke but no actual fire broke out at Colonia High School Monday afternoon due to an overheated circuit breaker, said Mayor John McCormac.

Firefighters had to shut off electricity to the whole school as a precaution. So the high school was dismissed early.

There was not even actually any fire, but just light smoke in one area of the building. This was due to an electric overload on a circuit breaker. Colonia High School was evacuated early as a precaution.
