SNAP (Food Stamp) Outreach at PRAB
FREE pre-screening and application assistance available on December 30th at PRAB/New Brunswick
The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of New Jersey will visit PRAB in New Brunswick on Wednesday, December 30th and help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps. They will be there from 9am to 4pm and assist those people likely to be eligible for food stamp benefits to fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available. PRAB is located at 90 Jersey Ave in New Brunswick.
The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches, and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million New Jersey residents.
