A lottery ticket sold in South Plainfield this week won the nearly half-a-million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A lottery ticket sold in South Plainfield this week won the nearly half-a-million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
The ticket was sold at David’s Stationery, 112 Sampton Ave., South Plainfield in Middlesex County.
The ticket matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $488,706 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, July 22 drawing. The winning numbers were: 8, 14, 16, 22 and 36 and the XTRA number was 2.

The winning ticket was just announced Friday morning and a winner has not yet been publicly identified. If you win the lottery, it is your choice if you wish to be publicly identified. Winnings can be claimed privately.
David's Stationary will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The $3.9 million drawing will be held Monday, July 26.
