Third Car Stolen In Holmdel This Week

It's now three cars that have been stolen from Holmdel driveways in the past seven days. Cars were stolen in Aberdeen and Colts Neck, too.

HOLMDEL, NJ — It's now three cars that have been stolen in Holmdel in the past week, police announced Friday.

This is in addition to two luxury vehicles stolen in Colts Neck over Easter weekend. The car thefts in Holmdel occurred:

Thursday, April 5 - Friday, April 6: A resident on Sherwood Court reported their Mercedes-Benz SUV was stolen from their driveway sometime overnight. The vehicle was left unlocked and the key fob was left inside.

Saturday, March 31: Police were called to a home on Richards Way in Holmdel, where a black 2018 Mercedes Benz S56 was taken at 3:00 a.m. Saturday.

Thursday, March 29: A white 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen from a driveway on Grandview Drive in Holmdel sometime between Thursday night and Friday.

The car thefts in Colts Neck so far have been:

Monday, April 2: A 2014 Range Rover was stolen from a driveway on Yearling Path in Colts Neck at 2:30 a.m. Monday. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys had been left inside the vehicle.

Sunday night, April 1: A resident of Twin Lakes Drive in Colts Neck reported their 2009 Mercedes CL550 was stolen from their driveway sometime overnight Sunday into Monday. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the key fob inside.
