UFC Fighting Champion in North Brunswick Wednesday, March 23
Toms River native Frankie Edgar will be at 764 Shoppes Blvd. from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, signing autographs.
North Brunswick, NJ - Former UFC fighting lightweight champion and current featherweight contender Frankie Edgar will be in North Brunswick Wednesday, March 23 to open a new gym in the area. UFC GYM – North Brunswick is slated to open this spring, and will be the largest UFC GYM in New Jersey.
On Wednesday, Edgar will be at 764 Shoppes Blvd., North Brunswick signing autographs from noon to 5 p.m. The gym will also be selling memberships Wednesday at that location.
The UFC gym, which is currently under construction, will be located at 1846 Rt. 1. It will replace an existing Workout World.

And expect Frankie to be around the gym often: He's personally participating and overseeing the North Brunswick facility.
"I'm excited to be able to bring UFC-style training to my home state," Edgar said. "UFC has been a big part of my life for more than a decade and having the opportunity to share my dedication to fitness and training with my community has been a lifelong dream."

A native of Toms River, Edgar is one of the most decorated athletes in UFC history and currently competes as the No. 2 ranked contender in the featherweight division.
The 25,000 square-foot North Brunswick facility will feature a 30-foot Octagon, strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, Brazilian jiu-jitsu studio and offer a full range of fitness classes, group and private MMA training, plus MMA youth programming.
