A dolphin was stranded in a New Jersey river Wednesday, and several onlookers captured the moment on video.
The dolphin, which was spotted in the South River in Old Bridge in Middlesex County, is being monitored by the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, who hope to bring it back out to the open water with the high tide, according to NBC Philadelphia.
Residents shouldn’t try to interfere with the dolphin, and boaters shouldn’t get too close. Chopper 4 from NBC New York flew over the river and captured the dolphin appearing above the waterway near an overpass.
