WATCH: Edison Girl Delivers a Knockout on "The Voice"
Edison native Moushumi advances to be mentored by newest "Voice" coach Miley Cyrus.

Edison, NJ - Edison native Moushumi advanced Tuesday night on "The Voice," beating fellow Team Pharrell teammate Nick Hagelin of Atlanta to advance to the next round.
Moushumi did a rendition of Halsey's "New Americana" Tuesday night, watch above. Pharrell Williams ultimately chose her to advance to the next round, the Live Playoffs.
"I am going to Lives! So honored that Pharrell believes in me," Moushumi tweeted.

We're not that into "New Americana," but Moushumi is talented: Watch a more pared-down Moushumi play guitar, and sing a cover of Damien Rice's "Delicate."

"I went with Moushumi because she is definitely a rare package. There is definitely no one like her on the show. There is definitely no one like her on the charts. I intend on bringing out the best," said Pharrell Williams, reports MyCentralJersey.com.
The tiny queen of soulful voices herself, judge Christina Aguilera said Moushumi's voice is a "crystal clear sound that resonates."
Next Monday and Tuesday, Miley Cyrus will be a Knockout Rounds mentor to Moushumi and the other remaining artists on "The Voice." Miley Cyrus was just announced as the newest "Voice" coach for Season 11. Watch Cyrus coach Moushumi as the Knockout Rounds continue next Monday and Tuesday, 8 p.m. on NBC.
