Weather Update: Hour-By-Hour Forecast For Woodbridge

A winter storm warning will be in effect for Middlesex County from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 p.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

A steady, accumulating snow that could be heavy at times is expected to begin falling Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday, the weather service said.

Some 4 to 8 inches of snow is expected, and it is expected to make travel very hazardous or impossible Wednesday night and Thursday, the weather service said.

Wednesday

Cloudy, with an 80 percent chance of rain. High temperatures will reach about 41 degrees. Rain will change to snow Wednesday evening. The low will be about 26 degrees. Winds of 10 to 15 mph are expected. Some 3 to 5 inches of snow is expected to fall overnight.

Noon to 6 p.m.: 40 to 42 degrees, showers

7 p.m. to midnight: 39 to 36 degrees, rain, snow

Thursday

Snow showers will continue, with another 1 to 3 inches falling. The high will be about 26 degrees and winds of 5 to 10 mph are expected.

1 a.m. to 5 a.m.: 33 to 31 degrees, snow

6 a.m. to noon: 27 to 24 degrees, snow, snow showers

1 p.m. to 6 p.m.: 24 to 23 degrees, snow, snow showers

7 p.m. to midnight: 23 to 16 degrees, cloudy

Friday

Skies will be sunny and the high temperature will reach about 28 degrees.

1 a.m. to 5 a.m.: 14 to 10 degrees

6 a.m. to 9 a.m.: 10 to 15 degrees, sunny

Weekend

Skies will be sunny, with high temperatures reaching about 40 degrees Saturday and 44 on Sunday. Lows will be in the mid to high 20s.
