Who Is Running For Woodbridge Mayor, Council In 2023:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — This past Monday, March 27 was the filing date for those who seek to run for Woodbridge mayor and town council this year.

According Woodbridge town clerk John Mitch, here is who filed to run:

Mayor John McCormac, a Democrat, will run for re-election, faced by Republican challenger John Vrtaric.

Vrtaric runs every term to challenge McCormac for mayor. The Woodbridge's mayor's election will be in November.

Kyle Anderson, Lizbeth DeJesus, Greg Ficarra and Brian Small — all Democrats — will run to keep their seats on the Woodbridge town Council.

They will be challenged by Republicans Bruce Banko, Carlo Fazio, Elijah Rodriguez and Dalia Valentine.
