“Metuchen is a great community and as pizzeria owners, we all work together," said Jason Coppola, who has owned Antonio’s Brick Oven Pizzeria for over 20 years. That's Jason, above, on the left. "I remember back when Hurricane Sandy hit, some of the local shops didn’t have electricity or supplies and we all worked together to help each other. That’s what we do here, that’s what we’re about. This will be a fun, friendly competition for us, but at the end of the day we ALL succeed with the success of one another in Metuchen.”
The pizza competition is the brainchild of the Mt. Zion Lodge #135 of Free & Accepted Masons and the Metuchen Downtown Alliance. Get Patch breaking news alerts sent right to your phone with our new app. Download here.
