Winning Ticket Worth $5K In Mega Millions Drawing Sold In Woodbridge

Some lucky soul is holding a Mega Millions ticket worth $5,000 that was purchased in Woodbridge, lottery officials announced Tuesday.

While there were no jackpot or second-prize winners after Friday’s drawing, five tickets matched four of the white balls and the gold Mega Ball, including one sold at the Wegman’s at 15 Woodbridge Center Dr., Woodbridge, said Carole Hedinger, executive director of the New Jersey Lottery.

The winning numbers for the Friday, Oct. 10 drawing were: 02, 32, 35, 50, and 59. The Gold Mega Ball was 03, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

Third-prize tickets also were sold in Hoboken, Brick, Hamburg, and Howell, she said. And 29 players matched four numbers, winning $500 each.

The jackpot for the drawing Tuesday night is now $166 million, according to lottery officials.
