Woman Hid Xanax in Her Vagina, Monmouth County Prosecutor Says
She hid Xanax in a plastic bag in her vagina and then swallowed the pills before being arrested in Keansburg, officials said.

A woman arrested in Keansburg earlier this week first hid suspected drugs in her vagina, and then swallowed them, Monmouth County prosecutors allege.
Erica Chapman was stopped by police just before 1 p.m. Monday in the area of Shore and Beacon blvds. after someone called in to report that she looked suspicious. Police found heroin and marijuana on her, officials charge, but Chapman also tried to conceal another drug — suspected Xanax pills in a plastic bag hidden in her vagina.
She specifically failed “to turn over illegal narcotics, to wit, suspected Xanax, that Chapman knew were concealed inside her vagina within a plastic bag,” reads the criminal complaint, released Wednesday.

Chapman, a 34-year-old Piscataway resident, then swallowed the suspected Xanax before Keansburg Police Officer Bellotti could seize the drugs, according to the complaint. Her arrest was the tenth heroin arrest in just seven days in heroin-plagued Keansburg. Keansburg Patrolman Justin Cocuzza was the arresting officer.
