Woman Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash In Woodbridge: Police
A car and a van collided at 5:50 a.m. Monday near milepost 94.6 in Woodbridge, just south of Exit 12, State Police said.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A woman was killed and her passenger seriously injured in a car accident that occurred just before 6 a.m. on the New Jersey Turnpike in Woodbridge Monday, according to State Police.
A 2007 Mercedes was disabled in the left center lane of the Turnpike at 5:50 a.m. near milepost 94.6 in Woodbridge, just south of Exit 12, said Trooper Charles Marchan of the New Jersey State Police.
A Ford transit van traveling south hit the back of the Mercedes and the Mercedes' passenger, Wendys Guevara, 23, from Elizabeth, suffered fatal injuries.

The driver Henry Nolasco,23, also from Elizabeth, suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford, Arnoldo Avalos-Rivera, 45, from Queens suffered minor injuries.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Nolasco was flown by medical helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
