Woodbridge 7-Eleven Sells $50,000 Lottery Ticket

Breaking: If you bought a lottery ticket recently at the 7-Eleven on Amboy Avenue in Woodbridge, you may be in luck:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Check your pockets! If you bought a lottery ticket recently at the 7-Eleven on Amboy Avenue in Woodbridge, you may be in luck: That store sold a $50,000 winning ticket.

There were two New Jersey Lottery tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday, Sept. 2 drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. The winning tickets from Saturday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:

· Essex County: News Day, 100 Mulberry St. Gateway 111 Lobby, Newark; and
· Middlesex County: 7-Eleven #11445, 401 Amboy Ave., Woodbridge

Of course, the NJ Lottery reminds readers that if those tickets had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, they would have been worth $100,000.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Sept. 2 drawing were: 06, 21, 41, 52 and 62. TheRed Power Ball number was 26. The Multiplier number was 02. The Powerball jackpot rolls to $83,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 10:59 p.m.
