The town will use the grant to build a walking/biking path and off-street parking for visitors at the E. William Street Park entrance.

Woodbridge had been awarded a $105,000 grant from the state Green Acres Fund to improve the entrance to the Middlesex County Greenway in the Fords section of town.

The grant is provided by the Garden State Preservation Trust and the state Department of Environmental Protection Green Acres Open Space Program.

The improvements will be made to the E. William Street Park entrance to the Greenway and will include recreational improvements, the construction of a walking/biking path, and off-street parking for visitors, according to a township news release.
