Woodbridge Gas Station Sells $560,581 Lottery Ticket

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Check your pockets if you bought a lottery ticket in Woodbridge recently!

That's because the Speedway gas station at 789 Amboy Avenue in Woodbridge (technically Perth Amboy) sold a ticket that won the $560,581 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in the drawing this past Friday, May 3, the NJ state lottery announced. This is the Speedway at the intersection of Amboy Avenue and Woodbridge Avenue/Main Street.

It used to be a Hess gas station at that location, but it's now a Speedway. This is a high-traffic intersection.

One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $560,581 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, May 3 drawing. The winning numbers were: 12, 14, 16, 24 and 27 and the XTRA number was: 02. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Speedway #3446, 789 Amboy Ave., Perth Amboy in Middlesex County.
