Woodbridge Girl Scouts Meet With Female Police Officer, Firefighter
Woodbridge Police Officer Meghan Lyons, Woodbridge's first female firefighter Andrea Schelmety and EMT Kim Seber all spoke to the girls:
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Four women who are breaking ground in Woodbridge met with members of Girl Scout Troop #83715 last week.
The women are: Kim Seber, a Woodbridge EMT, Andrea Schelmety, the first-ever Woodbridge female firefighter, Meghan Lyons, a Woodbridge police officer, and Allison Boyanovski, a surgical physician's assistant for a local trauma team.
They spoke to the girls as the girls were working on earning their First Aid badges.

"She told us that even if your dreams seem far away, you should always go after them. There's no deadline for making them real!" said Nina, a member of Troop 83715.
"When you're a Girl Scout, you learn more than just crafts and camping. You learn how to make a real difference in a similar but different way than the emergency professionals on our panel do," said Junior Girl Scout Emily.
