Woodbridge Had 'Lightest' Two Days For Coronavirus Cases: Mayor
Woodbridge saw only 21 reported cases of coronavirus Sunday and another 19 Monday, bringing the town's total case number to 699.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — In terms of coronavirus caseloads, Woodbridge Twp. had its "lightest two days in the last 10 days" this weekend, reported Woodbridge Mayor John McComac on Monday.
Woodbridge saw only 21 reported cases of coronavirus Sunday and another 19 Monday, bringing the town's total case number to 699.
He cautioned that testing might have been slower than normal due to the Easter and Passover holiday weekend.

"That’s good news although we really cannot read too much into the numbers because of the holiday weekend," said McMormac. "Still, it’s better than the numbers of the last few days last week."
"There are still no noticeable trends to report," he added.

He reminded people to still do social distancing. Woodbridge parks remain open but playground equipment is off limits.
All sanitation and recycling collections are on the regular schedule.
