Woodbridge High School Club Feeds 34 Families With Thanksgiving Baskets

The WHS Interact Club worked with other school clubs to put together the baskets.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ— A Woodbridge High School club made and distributed Thanksgiving baskets to 34 families in the town who would have otherwise gone without.

The Interact Club worked since the beginning of october to collect non-perishable food items, reaching out to other departments, clubs, sports and teachers to help put finishing touches on their baskets.

Some baskets went directly to the families of WHS students, and the rest were donated to We Feed Woodbridge, which stocks the 11 Woodbridge food pantries.

This is not the end of the Interact Club's holiday giving: the club is underway collecting toys for hospitalized children, and supplies for the Woodbridge Animal Shelter.
