MORRISTOWN, NJ — Out of the thousands who attended this year's Garden State Comic Fest, there was only one arrest: A Woodbridge man charged with stealing an action figure.

Jesse R. Parrino, 32, of Woodbridge Township, was arrested July 8 at the Comic Fest after a vendor alleged he stole a SH Figuarts Harley Quinn action figure, valued at $60. Parrino was arrested by Morris County Park Police, charged with shoplifting and released with a court date pending.

The Garden State Comic Fest, which was held July 7-8 this year at the Mennen Sports Arena in Morris County, is a big event, attracting several thousand over the weekend. This was the event's only arrest. The next Garden State Comic Fest will be held April 7-8, 2018 at the Showboat hotel in Atlantic City.
