Woodbridge Man Killed By Car In Roselle Thanksgiving Day

Breaking: A man from Colonia was tragically killed at 1 a.m. Thursday, when he was hit by a car trying to cross the street in Roselle.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — A man from the Colonia section of Woodbridge was tragically killed early on Thanksgiving Day, when he was hit by a car trying to cross the street on the Linden/Roselle border.

Steven Sears, 37, of Colonia was hit sometime before 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, police told MyCentralJersey. Roselle police were called to the area of St. Georges and Wood avenues, near the Linden border.

The driver who hit Sears stopped and remained at the scene.
