Woodbridge Mayor Running Unopposed For Re-Election

Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac will seek re-election this November 2019, seeking his fourth consecutive term as Woodbridge's mayor.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac will seek re-election this November 2019, seeking his fourth consecutive term as Woodbridge's mayor.

The deadline for candidates to file in the primary election was this past Tuesday, April 2. Nobody — Republican or Democrat — is running against McCormac, a Democrat. He is running with the support of the Middlesex County Democratic Organization.

If McCormac wins in November, this will be his fourth term in office. He was first elected as mayor of Woodbridge in 2006. Woodbridge mayoral terms last for four years.

The primary election is in June; the general election will be Tuesday, Nov. 5.
