Woodbridge Mayor: We're In Same Place We Were Eight Months Ago
Woodbridge is now routinely logging more than 60 new cases a day, which is actually worse than what the numbers were last spring.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Woodbridge Township had a "rough" week this week, with 258 coronavirus cases recorded in the general public in the last four days, Mayor John McCormac announced on Friday, Dec. 4.
There were 73 on Monday, 55 on Tuesday and 65 each on Wednesday and Thursday, he said.
There were, however, no new deaths because of Covid this week.

"Our seven-day average of 62 cases is our highest of the year by one over our worst week in April," McCormac said. "We had five daily caseloads over 60 in the spring and seven in the last 11 days. No matter how we look at it, we are in the same place we were eight months ago."
He pleaded with residents to please keep wearing masks, avoiding large crowds and keep social distancing.
